Chapter 1 - Day 6 - Old West town meets B&B - Washington AR

After a very short drive this morning we made it to Coulter Farmstead, an adorable mid to late 1800's set of log cabins, home and general store. We rolled in far earlier than we were supposed to, avoiding the wind storm, but we were greeted with smiles and help. The entire town is adorable, Washington State Park

Coulter Farmstead is a B&B that hand delivers breakfast to you, even to us, offers a beautiful setting for events, and has a great selection of local items. I'm smitten. I'll be back to rent a cabin eventually.

The day started out cold and grey but turned sunny and windy pretty quickly.

Today we relaxed. I worked while Clay napped, we had some great southern green beans with dinner that Coulter Farmstead had frozen and ready to go. Our convection/microwave oven does great with cooking.

Clay pet all the things, I bought all the things in the gift shop, and we went to bed early.
