Left our campsite from Cameron Trading Post early heading to the east entrance to the Grand Canyon.
Traffic was light and coming in that way to the park allows you to stop along all the points and viewing sites.

Then found nice parking for the Visitor's Center.
Saw an elk (actually saw a few but only got pics of one)
And then... off to Valle to stay at the Raptor Ranch with Fred, Wilma and that gang.
Animal Count:
3 elk
1 mule deer
1 peregrine falcon
1 mountain blue bird
