The morning dawned bright and warm. While I worked the kids set up our chairs, Dilon made a pin hole viewer and some shadow paper things.
The eclipse started at 12:41pm CST, peaked at 1:59pm and ended at 3:16pm.
We all ended up with headaches, probably from looking at the sun for three hours. So, naps commenced shortly after the eclipse was done.
Tomorrow morning the kids head home and I start the Route 66 part of the trip.
