Chapter 3 - Day 5 - Questionable Tacos

Picking up the kids was easy. St. Louis airport makes it super easy and even has directions on their website for where to go with RV's if picking up or dropping off passengers. I picked up groceries from Walmart, napped and then hung out in the cell phone lot until they landed.

The trip to the festival area was curvy and hilly. I'm sure it was a gorgeous trip in the light. But it was nice, all back roads. UNTIL... Oh, until we reached the last stretch. It was spoopy, scary, definitely had horror movie vibes. The trees were really close to the road and the branches arched closed over the rv, close and touching. The scraping of the sticks added flavor to the dark vibe.

The morning was gorgeous. Bright and cold. We didn't actually find where we were supposed to park during the night. Around 9am we moved to our spot and got settled. The property sits on top of a hill with horses, donkeys, cows, goats and roaming dogs. There are a lot of people here but nothing so far seems overly loud.

We bought tacos here and it wasn't a great idea. They offered three different types. Tofu, beef and a mushroom type. None of them had salt. The rice was not cooked. Everything was cold. So, we had a redo for dinner. Bridget made stirfry. A much better option.
