If you're easily offended, don't like middle school fart and butt jokes, or just don't have a sense of humor skip this post. Really. There's not much you'll miss about this day other than inappropriate jokes and silliness.
Explore Uranus. Get your fudge packed in Uranus. The best fudge comes from Uranus.
We headed off in the morning to visit Uranus, Missouri. Yes, really. That's the name of the small area on Route 66 that has a fudge factory, gift shop, sideshow stuff, ice cream and mini golf.
Imagine your middle school friends were allowed to come up with all things funny about Uranus. That's the same things this place has used to put on shirts, billboards, stickers, etc. I really would love to work with their marketing team.
Before we visited Uranus we stopped at Route 66 Diner just down the road. They were super busy but for good reason. Dilon attested that the burger was fantastic. Clay loved the french dip and Bridget's breakfast for lunch as wonderful.
Then to a dispensary for Bridget and Dilon to acquire some recreational materials. They said it was like stepping into Men In Black. The front room was double locked with just a receptionist, then they were allowed into the ordering room. After it was packed they came out a different door than they entered. Craziness.
THEN, finally, we headed the couple of minutes to Uranus. I didn't take a ton of pics, but you get the idea. LOL We chuckled, chortled, snortled and giggled through the entire store.
After some ice cream we headed back to Blackwell after being on Route 66 for about 12 miles.
It was a great day!
