Chapter 1 - Day 4- Kentucky to Mississippi

What a swap from the day before. We woke to some grey but after grabbing some books we headed to Clarksville TN to play a round of blacklight mini golf and do some glow painting. The drive was great, the sun came out as soon as we crossed into Tennessee and we had so much fun.

Oh, on the way into TN we saw these lovelies before entering TN:

Yes, the cow is wearing glasses. I know, cute, right?

Clarksville is the home of D&D Blacklight Mini Golf in 3D. I was looking for something fun to do and stumbled on this absolute gem. They offer all kinds of things all under the same roof and for a great price. While I chatted with the attendee Clay played some games in the arcade and won a TON of little glow creatures.

Then we played through the mini golf, cheating the entire way. If we didn't we'd still be there.

Painting was next. The room for painting was awesome. And the paints we were using are glow in the dark, not just fluorescent. They charge with light. It's so cool.

From Clarksville we headed to Hernando, MS. The drive was interesting for the first hour. I'm going to have strongly worded words with the app I'm using for navigation. It's supposed to be used by RV's and it has the beast's dimensions. There is no way we should have been this narrow, slalomming, ravine-sided craziness. But even that was sunny and nice, when I wasn't worried we'd die by falling off the edge.

Once we were on solid interstate ground again we enjoyed a wonderful sunset and some sites.

Our stop for the night is a very adorable regenerative farm, Gnarled Oak Farm. It's in Hernando, MS and has a really nice on-line business featuring their tallow products. Seriously, check them out. I bought the sugar scrub. So good. And yes, this is a HarvestHosts location. Pics on the next post for this place. Clay is in love.

Hugs and kisses~
