Chapter 3 - Day 29 - JEEEEEP DAY

We rented a Jeep Rubicon from Jenn's Jeeps in Moab for the day. They were the only group I could find that would allow Leelu in the vehicle with us. What a great small company. We arrived right around 8:15am, did the paperwork and were helped with what trails to take. Fantastic rental place!!

First, we needed coffee and a snack, so decked out in a cool Jeep we stopped at the Espresso Wagon for spicy chai, a blueberry scone and a banana muffin. The chai was AMAZING. I mean it. The black pepper was so much spice. 

Then, off to Gemini Bridges.

Then, lunch. Moab has a Food Truck Park. We settled quickly on the same place. I got a falafel wrap and Ben got a meat bowl, gyro meat, sauce, rice.

Off to Hurrah Pass and Chicken Corners.

Here's a video I took coming out of Chicken Corners. This was a Easy/Moderate trail. Yep. Sure. 

The jeep was amazing and we had such a great time. Definitely an amazing memory-making day.

We decided we wanted unlimited water for showers after all the dust, so we stayed the night at Portal RV Resort.

Chapter 3 - Day 28 - Paleo Museum and Driving

We woke early to the sun starting to light the mountains around us. Coffee was had and was good. A quick drive to Bridal Falls for a selfie and then off on our first adventure. We drove route 89 from Spanish Forks to Salina. It is a fantastic drive full of all the Utah's spectacular landforms.

Route 89 had some neat pull off spots. One of them was about a mining company and a couple of tragedies. 

We also decided to stop at the Prehistoric Museum in Price, Utah. What a great little museum. The had a ton of locally sourced specimens.

Once we hit I70 we continued west to see some of the amazing formations.

We ended the night at North Klondike Campground. What a great state run little campground. We had an outer site with a great view of the surrounding mountains.
